Vacancy: Travel Designer Oman

Origins Travel Group is looking for a senior Travel Designer for GoTravelOman.com, our label for exclusive private trips to Oman. This is not an employed position but a commission-based collaboration, meant for someone who has already proven they can deliver.

The role

As a Travel Designer at GoTravelOman.com you are the face to the client. You hold the first introductory conversation, design a tailor-made private trip based on it and guide the client all the way to departure. You work with our established network of certified local guides and drivers in Oman — people we know personally and trust.

Our clients are conscious travellers: demanding, well informed and willing to pay for quality. They expect a knowledgeable conversation partner, not an order processor.

What we expect

• At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in the travel industry
• A proven track record selling luxury or tailor-made travel
• Strong conversational skills: listening, advising, convincing without pressure
• Affinity with Oman and the Middle East; personal travel experience is a strong plus
• Independent, commercial and proactive; you need no micromanagement
• Excellent English; Dutch or German is a plus
